Article on Missouri having Vitamin E, Selenium Problems

In the June 2007 issue of The Horse.com is an article (#9775) discussing the effects from drought conditions leaving some of the hay in Missouri deficient in Vitamin E. And on the other hand, if importing hay from other states there COULD be an issue of too HIGH of Selenium levels.

Please rest assured that ALL the MFA Easykeeper Horse Feed contains the proper levels of both Vitamin E and Selenium – (It’s like PREGO – it’s in there!) And if you are concerned about your hay/pastures it is recommended to have your hay tested. Please contact your local MFA Agri Services Agronomy Salesperson to help you with questions about testing hay or pasture.

To read the complete article, logon to www.Thehorse.com and search article, “Drought aftermath”, dated June 2007.
